Common questions about workspaces, billing, and features.
What is a workspace? ▼
A workspace is your company's isolated environment — contacts, campaigns, and billing belong to that team. Users can belong to multiple workspaces if invited.
Can every employee create a workspace? ▼
No. Only one workspace is allowed per company email domain (e.g. @acme.com). If your company already signed up, ask your admin for an invitation instead of using the public signup form.
How does the free trial work? ▼
New workspaces get 7 days with Growth-level features. No payment is required to start. After the trial, subscribe to continue using the hub.
How do I pay? ▼
Subscriptions are billed in NGN through 1app. Choose monthly or annual billing on the signup form or in Settings → Billing after login.
Can I change plans later? ▼
Yes. Workspace admins can upgrade or change billing cycle from Settings → Billing, subject to your active subscription rules.
Who can invite team members? ▼
Workspace admins can invite users from Settings → Team. Platform operators use a separate admin account for global settings.
Do you support WhatsApp on every plan? ▼
WhatsApp and automations require the Growth plan or higher. Starter includes email and SMS. See the pricing page for a full comparison.
How do I connect WhatsApp? ▼
On Growth or Enterprise, go to WhatsApp → Numbers and click "Connect with Meta". You'll sign in with Facebook, pick your phone number, and you're done — no manual token copy-paste.
What is included in the Sales CRM? ▼
Lead forms (public URL or API), a deal pipeline, and automatic contact creation. New leads can be enrolled in welcome automations. CRM is on Growth and Enterprise plans.
Can I sync Meta or TikTok ad data? ▼
Yes — connect ad accounts via OAuth on Growth+. Campaign spend, impressions, and clicks sync into the Ads dashboard. Reconnect when tokens expire.
Can contacts manage their email preferences? ▼
Yes. Every email includes a preference center link where contacts can opt out of specific channels or topics (marketing, newsletters, etc.) instead of unsubscribing from everything.
Can I upgrade my plan mid-cycle? ▼
Yes. Upgrades apply immediately with prorated billing. Downgrades take effect at the end of your current billing period.
I work at 1app — do I need to subscribe? ▼
Workspaces owned by @1appgo.com accounts are billing-exempt for internal use.
